Yeah I am to busy loving Halo to waste my time with another cry video. It’s easy to unsell stuff. Halo is still awesome. Yeah it sucks its not number one any more but that is because the video game landscape has changed. The casual players dominate who want easy instant kills and gratification are the majority. Halo has a higher learning curve and they don’t spoon feed you information. The story is to complex for most and you have to go outside of the games themselves to get all the information. Halo still has tons going for it.
I couldn’t care less about this, I love Halo 5, I can always find matches and there is plenty to do. I don’t care if its not a giant any more because I’m not a shareholder, I’m a gamer.

They may be irritating to some people that don’t care that the series is going downhill, but they aren’t wrong.

Yes they are. Because there is no way to objectively judge the series based on total sales, FPS dominance in the market, the rise of MOBAs and RPGs, console install bases, the skill gap and subsequent casual gaming rise, and many other things.
These are the same guys who love to scream that 343 and Sprint are killing Halo. Really? We have 10 million factors to consider, and all you can say is that one single gameplay mechanic is “killing” an entire franchise, whereas every other franchise from its timeframe is either DOA or coming back after x number of years? Give me a break.
Inevitably, the argument always loses me when people complain about 343. Im sorry, but Bungie left and created Destiny, seeds of which were definitely tested in Halo Reach, once thought the be the bane of the series and is now loved because thats how the Halo community works.
So if not 343, then who? Most people argue “I dont care, just not 343”. “Halo is dead to me”. “Halo should have died with Halo 3”. If you do not care that Halo is still around, then who is making it and who is playing it should be of no concern to you. Its like breaking up with your girlfriend and being mad she is trying to move on with someone else. You cant fault people for enjoying a game.

Yeah they make good points but they are all the same, but at least 343 will have clear picture of what to do
There’s more competition today with rival games and the xbox is no longer just for gaming but a central media entertainment system.
Halo 2 and Halo 3 were completely different era’s, you can’t compare the generation of this Halo to the previous ones.

I don’t have time to read this wall of text at the moment, I’ll get to it later. I just want to point out that I don’t hate 343 and I’m not saying you can’t love the game, I just acknowledge the fact that they haven’t made a successful Halo game yet and its not because Halo isn’t as popular as it once was, its because 343 keeps pushing their idea of Halo and most people don’t agree with it. People don’t like sprint or armor abilities and this was somewhat apparent after Halo Reach, but instead of using what worked for Bungie and building off of that, they chose Bungies least successful game to build off of (I love Reach btw), but not everyone did and it split the community, I’m not asking for a Halo 3.2, but Halo 3 wouldn’t be a bad starting point and as of H5 I’ve decided to not buy H6 solely because of how bad it was ( in both my personal opinion and every single one of my friends).
