I have no way to know from a personal perspective, but I don’t think it’s something you recover from more like getting used to the change. Like losing a limb or vision.
But I know what you mean I’m just terrible at talking about this stuff. Poor family. I almost wish 343i sold the emblem, and gave the proceeds to the family.
Any way, I will use the emblem for a while in support.

Same here. I’ve honestly never heard of him. Funny how the emblem is legendary yet everyone gets it. It’s more of a common I’d say.

As sure as loosing a child is terrible, a virtual emblem worn in a video game won’t bring them back. So I won’t wear it.
That being said, I hope both the parents and the children they will eventually find peace.

Already wearing it, will be for a while. It’s a loss that just doesn’t have words for it in any language. My wife and I lost our first child to a miscarriage so our hearts go out to there family. It truely is the worst thing that can happen to someone. God bless those little girls
