Well if there is one, of course it would be in the US. Washington, to be exact. If it happens, it’ll probably be at PAX Prime. But they haven’t confirmed anything yet.
In all honesty, there most likely will not be one. Halo fest was to celebrate 10 years of halo. They wouldn’t make an entire festival for just one game especially since it hasn’t even been a year since the last one. Just wait for E3 and then the game to come out.
While there may or may not be an assigned event, you can always get with your local game store and see if they’re getting something together.
You might see if there’s any local gaming communities that are hosting a release party.
I’m going to be cosplaying on my own at a midnight release… If that kind of thing appeals to you do what I did; tell the store you’re picking the game up at and let them make an event out of it. You get to have your own private party.
