Look at the top two results for the search terms: halo 4 beta.
They may even be paying google to make them the top results. Because I know all too well google doesn’t give a care about illegal sites.
If this does not belong in this forum please move it or close it as needed, but I really think something needs to be done about this so that foolish people do not fall prey to these sites if they haven’t all done so already.

At first I thought you meant remove the sites from the internet but you mean remove them from search results right?
343i/Microsoft might be able to get them shut down, or removed, but as far the search engine, I think there is a way to report some links, I know you can report images on Google image search.
Also, some company called “Play Pickle” is letting people play Halo for free, and making fake adverts about it. I downloaded it and got malware

Because he doesn’t want other people to fall prey to the sites as well? It’s called wanting to help out other people and protect them, which is a very noble thing to do.

Because some people will most likely fall for it, and find out the hard way that it’s a fake, and get all pissed at the wrong people. It happens, and as long as you’re not one of the people who fell for it, all you can do is sit back and watch the fire works, and laugh. If you fell for it, then all you can do is kick your self in the butt, and move on, unless you paid money, then you’re screwed.
If they can do this then I would support this.

Well, you got to remember, most people who think that, are either thick, or little kids new to the internet and it’s many miles bridges with trolls under them.
Also, people tend to forget the #1 major rule of rumors: If it doesn’t come from the horse’s mouth (in our case 343i), it’s not true.

A lot of people on this site forget the Rumor rule. ;D
