I don’t want you to rush the game out in 2019. I know it’s unlikely to come out this year anyway, but look at games like RDR2 (A Great Game). That game took 8 years to make from what I’ve heard. Taking your time and building a grand game will pay off. Infinite will most likely come out in 2020, but if it is delayed past then, so be it. Really make this the Halo game that our ambitious minds want. Plus, after Halo 5, we need a miracle to get Halo back up from the depths it plummeted down into. I think taking your time to create a huge game would really gain the players appreciation. I’m patient, and I’m sure many others are. Because we don’t want a quickie, we want a masterpiece. Now I doubt Infinite will be a masterpiece, but I could be a great comeback if 343 just took their time to carefully craft this game to reach its greatest potential.

H:I could have a late development upset that can ruin the quality of the game. Or be stuck in development hell like the halo tv show. Yes of course I want 343i to take their time and release the content when it’s ready and not necessarily on a deadline. But we will never know until the game comes out.
I agree. Considering we didn’t have a H6 by 2018, it looks like Microsoft is giving them time. It feels weird to be happy about my favourite franchise’s next installment taking forever to come out lol

Yes I agree completely, Halo infinite has to be great but we really should be telling Microsoft this they decide when the game comes out not 343.
How long they spend on a game is such a minor issue. Yes, don’t just release it, but don’t over analyze it and over complicate or spend too much time on a game.
Just because you spend all the time in the world on a game, won’t make it good. Also 343 already has a release date in mind, fans posting like this isn’t going to cause them to go “oh yea… he is right, lets push it back”.
I hope they release it soon so that we can stop holding our breathe. If I had my way, I’d want a beta so we can see if they have the gameplay good, and then spend more time refining if it is even needed.

I wouldn’t expect the beta to be released before winter 2019, if not even later.

I thought that until someone pointed out that Nov 15th 2021 is the 20th anniversary of Halo CE. I hope I’m wrong, but it could be a long way off, or not.
they kinda already are since it is already surpassed the typical development cycle of a halo game the latest it releases is 2020 as the final first party title for xbone as a swan song to it if you will

Microtransactions alone probably won’t ruin this game. I personally think Halo 5’s multiplayer (as it is now) might be be best in the series. However Infinity needs to have it ready at launch and not years later.
