Just make the jump height higher(Or even a system to upgrade your jumping height).
And make the walking speed faster. It was absolutely perfect in Halo CE and Halo 2.
Originally in Halo the movement speed was so fast that it was assumed that the Spartans were always in a half-jog/run. Nowadays the game is slow like a turtle.

Asking them to take out 3 years worth of game mechanics wont work. How about we try to find a compromise instead.

They did both of those suggestions and kept sprint. Argument invalid (Not that you had an argument, all you said was take it out i dont like it.)
If you are referring to the turtle movement like in Reach then disregard that. Bungie messed up Reach bad and went in a terrible direction.
But honestly i feel that Sprint is a good option. In the books Master Chief could sprint kilometers in a matter of minutes.
And i do agree that the default speed should be increased back to the standard so you don’t feel like a fattie. =P

Not really. You just said take out sprint. Oh, and make us faster and jump higher… both of which have already happened.
This thread is pointless Sprint is staying in and they will not take it out so there you go.
No. Sprint is fine. If someone sprints away because of you failing to gun him down, that’s your fault. Not the game’s.

I’d actually think it’d be better to develop upon Sprint and not make it like any old FPS. Diffrentiate it, add more features to it(Like; how you Sprint). I just don’t want it to seem like any other FPS. It should seem original, Halo has always seemed origina; especially with what new things it’s brought in.
