Please stop with the "ranking system"

What is so important about knowing now? And my view see’s that they are implementing a spartan cr system for unlocks, and almost a “trueskill” (man i hate that word, H:3 fanboys) competitive match-up. But for god’s sake I hope there is no 1-50, they can keep it hidden, and they can make you believe you are up against better worse or evenly matched players just by their skill In-Game, besides.

Also, I hear alot of people flame-on about reach and matching against easy players. If you want to battle even skilled players, Please take my advice, it is fun to make a full party full of your “mlg” friends who are as good as you and go into matchmaking with a full 2 teams, random teams of even skill.

…Or you could just have a functional ranking system in the first place resulting in evenly made matches.

And for some reason, we have to beg for this to happen. Ridiculous.

i have made 2 threads involving ranking systems and explaining how they will work.

The problem in reach was that I constantly matched up against full teams of, for lack of a better term, tryhards which was very annoying. Also halo 4 does not have credits in any form. Theres an xp system which is not spendable like credits were and theres spartan points which haven’t been explained too much, but seeing as the pax build only gave people like 15 of them to make a loadout, don’t seem like credits to me.

did you play at pax? besides in the pax builds I believe every armour and weapon was unlocked, i saw nothing locked in the vids i watched, so they left it open for people to experiment pre-release

Go look at the pax vids. Yes everything was unlocked but I saw several people with 15ish spartan point balance. My point was that credits were large purchases where you would save up like 300000 to get something, and halo 4 does not seem to have anything like that.

OP, you have to understand people want to play matches that make sense and get better at the game.

It doesn’t matter if it’s hidden; there needs to be a ranking system.

It keeps newer players from getting crushed and prevents good players from crushing newer players, getting sloppy, then losing games and not knowing weather to expect any kind of opposition.

It’s better for everyone.

But hiding it to others is a good idea.

people play 1 or 2 games at pax from what i know before moving along, the game could have done simple resets between goes (no, not full shutdowns) and if you read the bulletin on CTF, you get anywhere between 5-100 Spartan points per, for lack of better words, benificial acts, 5 points for a distraction (kinda like an assist in reach which which earned Cr) and 100 points for a 3 flag capture i think + 25 points per individual flag, so in total you could get like 400-1000 points in a match, that covers game completion and commendations, so things might be a little cheaper but still makes sense to e able to buy them/earn them

that’s all I really want in the long run, i hate the fact that H3 players are so uppity about being “trueskill 50” or some -blam- like that

Those points that come up in game are not spartan points. Those are exp. Spartan points are different.

People will never stop asking about it or talking about it

Because to some uts what they enjoy and its what’s important

To others its not
