I agree with you about the forum taking a turn for the worse. It’s not very pleasant here nowadays and I wish the mods would lock down the negative trolling posts sooner, although I think they seem to be doing that more now as it’s improving somewhat.
As for rating DLC, yes, people should do so. But they should give it an honest rating - if we all said things were fine when they weren’t, 343 wouldn’t know what is below par and needs improving.
Personally, I love the Crimson maps and gave it a high rating.
As for loading up on themes and avatar gimmicks - count me out on that. That’s just a waste of money if you ask me. Most of that goes straight into microsoft’s pocket I should imagine. If no one bought it I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t harm 343’s future development opportunities.
Great post A Blues fan! Pleasure to read the attitude of another pleasant, loyal fan. I’ll be rating the DLC 5 stars in the next few minutes. I care too much about this franchise to let other people try and deride it into the ground.
Hilly bmx, there has been support, we’ve had multiple replies from BS Angel about the various updates and changes coming THIS month. We can be excited and very optimistic that the game will be improved.
343 changed Reach for the better, look at the Forge maps in Invasion and the Big Team Heavies, they were outstanding, Halo 4 will continue to improve.

RobGotBanned, obviously I didn’t mean people like you, I generalised to mean the majority. Good job on all your support so far. Every positive and loyal fan is a BIG asset here. Well done on buying the DLC and rating it as well.
I supported the franchise when I purchased the game forking over hard earned money and expecting it to live up to the name.
It is now time for 343 & Microsoft to give some customer support to everyone that did the same.
I’m certainly not going to gift them anymore money for poor quality DLC until the original game issues are resolved.
If 343 can show us that they are serious about addressing the many complaints we have with the game and engage properly with the community to find solutions, then they have my support - not before.
the crimson map pack sucked, I actually deleted it from my hard drive because I found those maps to be so horrible.
dont expect people to support things they dont like, its not gonna happen.
both THC and halo waypoint are both very negative, however some of the negativity actually has some merit to it.
the irony in all this is that the most effective way to get 343i to do something is by NOT supporting them, wanna know why? its because MONEY speaks louder than words.

No, we are lucky the game is going to be upgraded this month from a 3/4 finished game to something closer to a full version.
After that, 343 needs to MAKE me want to spend my money.
Actually you’re helping 343 in ruining the franchise if you buy their -Yoink-.
Why would they change the bad direction Halo is taking if the people buy all the things nonetheless?
I won’t even buy Halo 5 (only secondhand maybe) because then I would support 343’s terrible policy.

I’m a supporter overall for the Franchise, but I’m not going to support a game that is very bland, a game that doesn’t spell fun, a game that is unbalanced in many ways, I could go on and on and on.
Sorry but right now, with only 5 unique maps in small and 5 unique maps in big team slayer, I think 343 are very lucky indeed that people have even bought them.
A total of 10 playable multiplayer maps shipped with the game and no proper free for all gametype? That’s pretty lame IMHO.
I actually think that there is likely more halo 4 tat to buy on the marketplace for your dashboard dolly than actual maps on the game.

im glad some1 finally made a thread like this. its the first time i see one like this and we have to let 343 know that this game is perfect and they should work on more AMAZING dlc map packs and sell them to us! THATS WHAT WE WANT!
I support Bungie’s Halo and I will support Bungie’s new game. I don’t support 343 after all the mistakes they have made so far. They ruined multiplayer, screwed season pass holders, messed up with the specializations for a lot of people, etc.
If Bungie’s new game is also on the next Playstation console then I might not even buy the next Xbox. That’s how much this game has killed my love for Halo.
