Please split BTB into 2 or more playlists

In my experiences, quitters and betrayers are far more rampant in BTB than in any other cross-game playlist. People quit and betray when they don’t get the title they want. Ultimately, this drives players away from playing altogether. I’d wager that the overwhelming majority of players go into a playlist with an idea of the title they want to play. While the idea of cross-game playlists probably looked very good on paper, it has turned out to be a disaster in practice. Splitting up the playlists won’t lower the game’s population. I really couldn’t see anybody saying, “If I can’t go in with no idea what title I’m going to play, then I don’t want to play MCC anymore”. The opposite is far more likely. Players will come back when they see that they can play what they actually want to play.

Totally agree. It only takes one person to start a chain reaction of quitting. The more people you have the more likely you are to have one or more people that will only play “their Halo”. And the more Halos you have the more likely you are to have people those people not get their Halo. That’s why BTB is the worst offender.

And yet, it’s the top playlist! Imagine how many people it would have if it were split in two!!!

5 million copies sold of MCC. Can we please play what we want when we want?

Ideally, I’d like to see it split up 4 ways, just lump H2A in with H2C. If that’s too much to ask though, then they could split it into BTB classic(HCE and H2C/H2A) and BTB modern(H3/H4). Hell, if they wanted to put H2A in on the modern side, that would be fine too.

Great post and certainly worth someone (hopefully) taking it further MCC should be a companion to H5 especially when btb won’t be available at launch
