Please, someone explain this for me?

Because the only thing I can think is that this is a terrible feature.

I can try but first you have to do a barrel roll.

That’s better than I had the other day, I jip and I was the only person on my team and they scored the last flag after about 3 seconds, then we went to the lobby and two of us were put in another jip progress game that was 3-0 with two people not playing, guess what… lost again.

Yeah, as I thought…

No one can really explain how JIP is good. Lol

no one answered my post in 9 mins so obviously no one on the forum can explain.

Welcome to 2013 where you are no longer forced to play short handed when someone starts losing an quits.

JiP has been a staple of a lot of shooters for over 10 years.

When I jip and saw I was the only person on my team I leerally face-palmed and sarted to smh. It makes absolutely no sense.

right this 2013 where you can join a game that’s 4-0 as the only member of your team. Makes alot more sense then matching players based on skill so that the games are more balanced. Why fix the reason people quit, just throw a band-aid on it and add jip and a quit ban… 343 logic fail

It is a terrible feature and needs some sort of limit say up to 2 flags, 400 points in big team etc. A opt out button would be even better but I doubt that’s going to happen.

Joined a big team game on 970 to 280 once…

I lost :frowning:

I think what is worse is when half your team quits, halfway through the match and no one is allowed to join. You get spawn trapped or with objective…it just becomes impossible to win. I had a big team game that ended up 8v3 because most of my team quit and no one was able to join.

Another match on Adrift in regular slayer…my team was winning by a pretty good margin, half my team quit when we needed like…10 kills or something. We lost because my teammate decided to rush the other 4 who were camping. No one new joined and yeah. It was upsetting. I had 24 kills :-\

I feel like JIP is needed to avoid situations like that because they just are not fun, in any way, but it should be tweaked somehow. I know it’s annoying to join a match that is almost over, but at least then your K/D might be higher and losses don’t count against anything.

I rarely end up joining a game that is almost done, but if I do, I just go ahead and stick with it so I have a team to play with (if everyone doesn’t quit after the match)

lol yep thats halo 4

JIP needs to be tweeked. Settings that dont toss players into game like that would make a massive differnce. Also a harsher quit ban will cut down on quitters which could then be grounds to remove JIP
