I was about to make this long than I decided to keep this slightly harsh message easy for everyone.
I am going to be very direct. This post only regards multiplayer. Of course a main concern is core gameplay which does affect campaign - of course. Yet still although my heart is caring for the campaign I do not want to cause confusion.
Halo 3 is an awesomely fun game to play. Not because of it’s population. Not because of any funny machinimas surrounding it. Not because cheap tactics are so readily available. Not because I unlocked guns. Not because of its ranking system. But because playing a multiplayer game alone - because of the way the core gameplay mechanics fused with human interaction - and then even furthermore the way this human-game interaction reacted with OTHER human-game interaction processes both on an opposing and allied side - was enjoyable.
But that is not possible without an interaction between a human and a game.
Details will bore you, so simply put I blammin’ love the way Halo 3 works. Of course, I do realize this is only in my taste. What makes me delighted does not satisfy everyone else.
But is that so? Are all the people that love the way Halo 3 functions at its core and wish for a game that captures its spirit once again - are these people truly a minority?
I like Halo 4. Won’t lie. I have fun with it. Honestly however, I only get on it if I am prompted to from an outside force. Halo 3 is my go to game and remains that way.
Am I bored of Halo 3? Absolutely not let’s play some right now (GT: BruteChameleon4)
Okay honestly now I don’t know where I am going with this. Uh, I don’t want a remake of H3 with H5 just get what I am sayin’ pls.
If I want to play Halo 3, I’ll go play Halo 3. When a new Halo game is on the way, I want to play new things, not old recycled crap.
Reach and Halo 4 finally moved Halo forward. I am glad I’m not playing the same damn 10 year old game anymore. Halo needed a change and the change is great in my opinion.
Halo 4 is the best one thus far.
The fact that 343 wanted their halo to differentiate itself from Bungies Halo is completely acceptable. I can understand that and you have to give them credit for trying to take on the series and make it their own.
But it seems they changed some things simply for the sake of change, and to make it more of a generic loadout shooter. I applaud them for taking risks but i just dont think they capitalized on all of their ideas as well as they could have.

There were significant differences in the first 3 titles that didn’t change the core mechanics of the Halo title. (H1 to H2 anyone? *rolls eyes)
The fact that you used the term “old recycled crap” for some of the greatest shooters ever made…what? That right there shows that you may as well be a “H4/343 Fanboy” and nothing more. If you can’t think of anything better to say about the only reason your “new favorite addition to the series” is even here, than whatisthisidonteven.
“Halo needed a change…” Explain?
who cares, i am glad that 343 didnt use the same -Yoink- that bungie used in all previous halo games( excluding Reach). Its there game now so you might as well face it, they are not going to back to old formulas they are going foward. Obviously if u dont like thier direction, dont play the game and stop trolling and -Yoinking!- on the forums
