Because will how broken mm is / we have games ending at 2 kills we have players being split.
After everything is fixed I feel this is the best option.

That would be pretty fair i aggree with you 
I also found about 2 - 3 matches which i couldn’t really attend at and ended up with such a bad K/D…

I don’t see the problem, if you care that much about K/D, don’t run the risk of playing while the game is in this state, it’s simple really.
Premature game ending and bad connections are going to happen whether they reset stats or not.

The devs of COD have openly admitted they see their players as casuals. If anything, K/D matters more in Halo than COD as Halo is a competitive arena shooter and COD is an arcade shooter with the sole purpose of being a billion dollar game.

There’s actually ranking glitches right now, which allow you to Stat Pad hard. In the long run it does mean something. Leader boards have always been an important part of HALO to the Competative Multiplayer Halo Player.

K/D matters absolutely zero percent in team based games in Halo.

I played H2 online starting way back in the days and pretty much every halo since yet in all my years playing halo KD had no affect on the game i cant even remember anyone back then even talking about KD so please take your KD back to COD where it came from.
With everything that is wrong with MM atm I would love to see a fresh start for everyone.

I’m fine either way. If they get reset fine if not oh well. The more years of Halo I have played the less I have cared about overall stats.
If someone wants to call me out in the future for K/D I’d just chuckle really. The 4v2 game starts and the party splits are hilarious.
There will be a stat reset for sure. That’s why I’m not wasting time in ranked.

just because everyone is bad doesn’t mean there gonna reset the stats especially since a lot of the achievements are based on winning 50 games or get a 1000 kills im doubting there gonna reset it just cuz people care there stats look bad
