I wasn’t one of the Regicide haters at first and I couldn’t see why people hated it after playing Team Regicide (one of the best gametypes in H4). Yesterday, I gave Regicide a try. Not once, not twice, but three times (out of three games) I finished second despite playing much better than everyone else (2nd game I went 25-15 and the winner went 17-16).
That’s why I want 343 to replace Regicide with Rumble Pit, which should have the following gametypes:
Infinity Slayer (main gametype)
Regicide
Oddball
King of the Hill
Swords
Juggernaut
I want rumble pit to comeback also, gametypes like Swords and Juggernaught would be awesome. If they bring back ranked playlist then lone wolves would be a nice return as well.
The lack of options for lone wolf players puts me off the game. Regicide is okay but I’d rather play free for all slayer and other single player options too.

I think it would be better, as deeNice said, to just have Regicide as a gametype to be chosen from in rumble pit rather then have it as a standalone playlist. Team Regicide should stay as a playlist though.

Regicide isn’t necessarily about having the best K/D ratio.
So no, you didn’t play it better than everyone else.

Yep, it’s about the points. I have to remind the missy when she’s the king not to run in guns blazin’. That’s while playing Team Regicide. I tell her, “hey, each time your killed thats 25 points for them”. All though having a good k/d helps, it all comes down to which player/team has the most regicides.
Yea agreed as posters said above its not about best K/D we have all lost to the AR guy with the stickies. But it’s cool, I realize the objective and I choose not to rush an do to that my k/d is much better but I lost. Am I though only one that realized 343 is trying to cpture the casual gamer to save Halo the customer which cares nothing about being pro just wants to win a game. They can totally Add lone wolves and rumble pit but keep regicide I believe it’s healthy for the game and its growth. Once again I love 343s outlook on Halo 4 an the innovation approach.
Agreed make a ranked one as well and no don’t put infinity slayer that should be social just put slayer with no ordinance in rumble pit instead. Also if oddball and KOTH is in it remove oddball and koth playlists from matchmaking.

To be honest i agree. You can have absolute garbage K/D but if you wait for the KING and pop him a few times, winning is easy. It’s kind of like a strategy GameType if you think about it.
