I am not even joking when I say that the best solution to stopping team killing, is to disable it!
It is stupid how many times I accidently killed a teammate because of some redo loud action. It was never from those new forerunner grenades, no. It was from teammates stepping in front of my fire mostly, and usually I stop shooting if they get in the way. I do usually go into game chat and apologize to the person I accidently killed, even if it does nothing. I have gone since the Halo 5 launch without getting kicked from the game until now, for ground pounding my friend by accident when he was being chased by an enemy. So I was kicked for that, which I suppose was my fault tbh, but I have no clue why after the next match ended I was temporarily banned. Why? I suppose it was from the match before or something.
I really wish 343 would just remove the ability to harm teammates in arena, because I really don’t want to be that guy who team kills. I hate team killing, and I don’t want to do it. I’m sure most people will agree with me! Please 343, remove team killing, please!
They should honestly just remove it. All it does is ruin peoples fun. People accidentally betray two people by landing a wraith on them and then gets kicked.

The funniest one that has happened was an accidental teammate headshot in Shotty Snipers. He just came out of the corner just as I was about to kill the enemy…
It was very funny, but at the time it ticked me the heck off…
The problem with Arena is that there is no one to cover your back and no awareness of your teammate’s location.
Sometimes, I swear, SOMETIMES their tags don’t even show up until they come out in the open. It’s so frustrating!

I agree. There’s nothing like laying down a surgically precise sniper round between a couple of teammates to take out an enemy who was winning in a firefight against them. If it wasn’t for team kills, then grenade throwing becomes even more reckless and spammed, players with rockets (or any explosive weapons) can just shoot aimlessly into crowds. There must be consequences for every action.
Also I always find it so funny when, due to a poor decision, I end up in a fight with multiple enemies, get soundly defeated, but a stray enemy grenade comes in after I die and ends up killing their own teammate giving me the “Kill from the Grave”.

The lack of team damage is what make a lot of fps a joke. Team kills will always happen no mater if is its a bunch of noob or a group of player playing together every night for 6 months. The key is to minimize it happening. But it does make me fell dumb for forgetting if I’m red or blue.

I can understand that you’re frustrated but,it is part of our experience to take care on our teammates and it’s a good thing.
Fighting on a heatspot’s make things escalate quickly sometimes(espezially sniper zoom and granades),still i always do my best to be carefull an not spammer,and really hate situations someone get ripped because of me.
I expect the same behavior from my team,no one has eyes on his back have this in mind while you want to help out.

I have noticed this happening if a team dont fit together in terms of playstlye(agressive/defensive/Strategical and so on)
Maybe the far away future of matchmaking is to understand how to read that playstlye and personal heatmaps(medals says alot about players)and bring decent teams together.
There are game’s where the team and me play just like a clockwork without saying a singel word.
Those random moments are my Favorite MM experince a perfect mix of players…

I completely agree it needs to be removed! Why? When you’re playing arena say CTF and you have the flag but your teammates act like 12 year olds and kill you so they can take the point, it’s people like that that ruin arena
Oh the amount of times I’ve accidentally sniped a teamates head because they walk right in front of my the second I pull the trigger. I usually don’t have a problem because it’s rare I team kill in the first place. Usually the odd nade or sniping them as I’ve said.
