Please Remove Slayer From Team Arena

I have been trying to master all of the team arena achievements for some time now. I mastered the slayer game mode a long time ago and now I’m working on the Strongholds and CTF mastery and I am becoming more and more frustrated how frequently I have to play slayer in the team arena playlist.

Now, I understand that slayer is a vital and much-loved part of the Halo community and I respect that. But, if I wanted to play slayer wouldn’t I just go and open up the slayer playlist?

I think that slayer, only in team arena, should be replaced with something we can’t play elsewhere, such as assault, or simply removed from the playlist. I’m curious to see if I’m the only person that feels this way.

I just wish they’d remove Slayer and call it Team Objective, so they can add game modes like Oddball and King of the Hill.

I agree with you both. I find it an inconvenience to play slayer when there’s a whole different playlist for Arena. But is there a reason why slayer is in Team Arena? If Team Arena was a playlist dedicated to objectives then it would be a no-brainer.

I Agree. They should take out Slayer since it already has it’s own playlist (So grateful they took Breakout out of it). Add Assault, Oddball and KotH… Ricochet if they are feeling really generous.
Team Arena should be the Objective playlist.

Agree, but 343 thinks we all want to be HCS pro’s, and made Team Arena the HCS practice list or something of that nature. I think it’s quicker to play BTB for commendations. I had to finish mine up there. Team Arena has turned into 50% slayer.

Agreed, I’ve logged over 500 games of slayer and my second highest is CTF at 180, and I RARELY play the slayer playlist.

Definitely. Remove slayer from arena, or change it to an HCS playlist and add an objective only list.

Team Arena essentially acts as Hardcore/MLG playlists of old. It has its place in the rotation…

I agree. If I want my yoink handed to me on Slayer|Regret I’d play slayer. Strongholds|Plaza is my favorite map and game type combo.

Agreed. I’m also going for arena commendations, but keep ending up in Slayer matches, it gets very frustrating when I want an objective game!

No, they need to add an objective playlist instead. Leave Team Arena for an HCS playlist.

Agree’d > Team Slayer should be SLAYER and Team Arena should be more objective base > CTF [multi and single] / Strongholds / Assualt / KOH / OddBall > come on 343i let’s get these playlist RIGHT for a change… but again i wont hold my breath
