“Then don’t use it.” Right? I don’t but as a secondary weapon its pretty dominate against most weapons. If your a good shot, you can outplay most weapons in the game.
(Even automatics and ranged precision weapons)
Maybe we should go back to AR/SMG starts only and then pick up precision weapons again. It seems to me people with a Godlike shot don’t even need to pick up any other weapon on map.
(Unless its power weapons like rockets/sniper)
I usually go for the Dmr/Br everytime but this magnum seems to utterly destroy everything. I don’t know . . . What do you think about the magnum and what do you like using.

Please no, the magnum is good but its not overpowered its perfectly fine as a starting weapon, if you saw some older threads you would know that tons of people would like br starts instead of pistol starts because pistol lacks range and it has a 5 shots to kill on it while the br is burst its 4 pulls to kill and has a better range, basically the pistol is fine because it can be outplayed by other precision weapons and even automatics the smg and storm rifle destroys you just have to know how to dodge.
The Magnum is definitely a Stronk Weapon. For some, the Stronkness is simply too much for them to control. Such as you, OP.
Seems ok to me. I think it’s the weapon I have the most kills with, but thats because I play mostly Warzone assault. And that means pistol kills fo days.
Assault Rifle works better for close range though. The balance is pretty good in my opinion.
On the stronkness scale…the Halo 5 Magnum is a 6…Halo 1 Magnum…solid 11 plus…so in comparison…the Halo 5 Magnum is just fine lol

Pistol is fine. I feel like because it is a secondary people think it is too strong. However if we spawned with the Pistol out people will complain how strong the AR is as a secondary. They are fine how they are.

Nah, every other precision weapon outclass it, but not enough to make the pistol useless.
The BR, DMR, Carbine, and Light Rifle beat the Magnum. Halo has always had its precision weapons beat the automatic. Making the magnum op supports that, and the AR still beats the magnum in close range encounters. It also makes the Magnum unique to other pistols in games. That’s why the magnum is arguably the most iconic pistol in video games.
I couldn’t be any further on the opposite end of the spectrum. If anything the Pistol is too weak.
AR starts are a bad idea. They do not actually fix any of the issues people claim are present, and they cause all new issues. If you take precision rifles out of the hands of players and put them on the map without doing any other balance adjustments then guess what will happen. People will STILL use those rifles just as frequently as they did before once they manage to obtain them, only now no one else has a rifle of their own to defend themselves with. So everyone is either spraying each other down for easy kills, or shooting defenseless AR wielders who can’t defend themselves for easy kills. You haven’t made the AR an actually desirable weapon, you’ve just forced people to use it until they find something else to dump it for, and you’ve severely damaged the balance and skillgap of the game in the process.
Furthermore, the Ce Magnum wasn’t overpowered, it just wasn’t a useless piece of -Yoink- that spawned the concept of “power weapons” like the Halo 2 BR did. Come at me.
People who can out shoot you with a pistol when you have a br/dmr are simply just a better shot. That just means you need to improve your shot if you want to match them. I’m not saying this as an elitist, you can look up my stats lol and see I’m not that good.

IMO the Magnum is balanced well. It’s a useful precision weapon but not quite as effective as the br and dmr which makes it worthwhile to pick up either of those weapons whenever you find one on the map.
