Honestly… Breakout is a terrible gametype. For those who want to play it? It’s got its own playlist, go there. But I see no reason to force people to endure that horribleness when they’re trying to play a regular Arena playlist. It would be like sticking SWAT in the same playlist. If it doesn’t belong in there, then why would Breakout?

I agree completely. Team Arena should become Team Objective, and should include classic gamemodes like King of the Hill and Oddball!
I think they need to remove melee too, and on top of that, when I’m shooting at someone else, make it so they can’t shoot back at me either.

Sigh… He’s talking about breakout in team arena. I agree with the OP 100%. Remove slayer and breakout from arena and make it objective based. I get slayer 80% of the freaking time.

I agree, remove slayer and breakout from team arena…both have their own dedicated playlists. We need more actual gametypes in team arena such as team oddball and KOTH. And maybe one flag CTF could work in there too.
Yes. Breakout does not even belong in there to begin with, and neither does it play like the dedicated playlist.

Sure, it’s awesome, but as a separate experience. It’s plays much too different from normal Halo and shouldn’t be mixed into it.
yes remove it I mean come on it’s got its own playlist if people want to play it then why the not go to its own separate playlist

Well if you are wanting it to be team objective breakout should stay. Here’s why: the point of break out is to do one of 2 objectives either eliminate the entire enemy team or to capture the flag in the center. So in a way it is an “objective” gametype.
Absolutely agree. As you stated in the OP, Breakout has its own dedicated playlist for the people that enjoy it, so I don’t see why it’s force-fed in Arena. I would rather Arena be comprised of Oddball, CTF, KotH, Strongholds (less weight for this gametype), and the occasional Slayer.
Breakout is fun if you’re into a really competitive game, but it doesn’t have a place in team arena.

Why do you think you have the right to speak on people’s behalf? Or are you just saying “people” instead of “me” to validate your opinion?
But anyway, I agree that Breakout doesn’t belong in Team Arena. It’s just too different from the other maps and gametypes and doesn’t quite fit in. I would actually like it if they removed Slayer from it too, mostly due to the selfish reason of me being awful at it and doing better in objective gametypes.

I actually agree. I don’t go into the Team Arena playlist for Breakout. It would be about like jamming Swat in there, but less awful.
I just opened this forum and i must say, whoever said remove breakout. WHYYYYYYY? you dont have to play it, just let us play in peace
