But a lack of suitable players is why bots are added to games. That’s how it is now. Ranked doesn’t have bots at all, and social replaces bots with human players once a suitable player/fireteam has been found.
NO, DON’T remove them, bots are useful in objective games to distract the enemy, unfortunately Marine level are used , they should make them at least ODST level

I want to see them use max-level bots and wipe the floor with people.
Bots are awesome for training. But Marine are way too easy, odst or Spartan would make more sense. They just make terrible plays n die but can easily kill you if they have a power weapon or are weak.
I think it works in objective for a temporary player before putting a join in progress person in the game but in slayer it really isn’t worth it in a 3v4 if a joiner isn’t possible for some reason.
I’d even be ok with a join in progress in ranked if you could still gain experience but not lose any in a loss from a game you dropped into. I start a good amount of ranked games 3v4 not mentioning people quitting or crashing out quickly.

I wouldn’t want them to remove the bots, but rather increase them to the Spartan level bots, currently I would say they’re on the Marine level difficulty (goes from something - Marine - ODST - Spartan).
ODST was an okay challenge but predictable while Spartan level feel like actual players at times
Bots need to go. I hate when you have a sizeable lead and the new players that replace the bots come in and wreck you.
Normally, in other games I would agree with you, but yesterday I experienced another mind blowing scenario where bots need to be removed or again, at the very least have their skill level increased. Playing CTF, we stole the enemy flag and dropped it to defend in our zone…and the BOT picked it up and ran it 3/4 of the way back to the enemy, got killed and the enemy returned it to capture ours for the win. HEY 343…this is unacceptable. In another match on One flag, spawning on defense…the BOT ran and grabbed shotgun, then grabbed the spike grenades, then grabbed sniper beating me everytime. On attack, it did the same…grabbing plasma grenades, then rockets, then cloak…3 rounds in a row, dying immediately after. My emotions got the best of me and I was about to send some toxic messages to the crappy teammate hogging everything just to waste it when I realized it was the BOT. You want extra bodies, fine but make them better at fragging and don’t have them go after power weapons and power items just to give them to the enemies that kill them with ease. I have video proof of all these encounters.

About the bot taking the enmy flag to their base, you should submit a ticket about it at halo support, include the video

I want an option to have bots on my team instead of randoms. Bots usually do better and actually go for the objective.
