One of the many things that left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact staples of Halo was basically DLC and not part of the launch package. I just hope modes and options like Forge and Theater are available at launch and not just post launch content. Helps community generate buzz, hype, and content for the game.
I’m sure it will. Well, I certainly expect it to.
I really don’t think they’re gonna do another half-baked launch.
343i has had more than enough time between Halo 5 and Infinite to release a finished product. One of the biggest mistakes with 5 and MCC on PC was releasing without those two community features at launch. It undoubtedly hurt those games.
I agree. Kinda nervous because of covid. I wonder if the pandemic delayed stuff so they’re cutting content to hit the launch of XSX? It would they delayed the game so that everything was there at launch?
Fingers crossed that 343 heard us at time of the underwhelming and premature Halo 5 launch.
I second this. What makes a great halo game feel like “halo” is all of these features packed together. I think this lack of forge/theater on H5’s launch is what turned so many people off who never came back to the game. People want that classic feel
I don’t think they’ll make that mistake again. I think with Halo 5 they got into a time crunch before launch, wanted more time to work on those modes, and figured everyone would be too busy enjoying warzone, campaign etc… and they were dead wrong lol they won’t get away with that twice and they know it so I wouldn’t worry too much.
I hope the theater mode is more like the Halo 3 theater mode that was an actual replay of the game shot for shot and not the current H5 version. Theater mode now is not nearly as polished as the Halo 3 version. Would make for saving VOD much easier. I’d also like to be able to watch Theater with a party like in Halo 3.
Yeh they need release a full game on physical, no more rushed releases. No more repeats of Halo 5 launch disasters and no more online only modes restricted to online download only due to delayed content.
Theatre must be a first class experience as well, it can’t be shafted like it was in Halo 4 and 5.

Yes, they’ve had more than enough time, but they’ve given us several red flags and we shouldn’t get our hopes up. It’s possible that they’ve somehow spent 3.5 of the 5 years working on creating the game -engine- and not the actual game assets and content. Fact that we’re only seeing gameplay now, about 4 months before launch, and we won’t see anything of the multiplayer until even closer to launch, is not promising.

I hope so, but I am worried because essentially Halo: Infinite is a Launch title and if they didn’t have enough time due to issues, etc. They cannot ask for extension of time to complete it, they have their sites on the Fall/Holiday time. So we going to have 1 of 3 situations,
1 - Releases at launch with full glory.
2 - Limited buggy release at Launch with more options and fixes post-launch.
3 - Missed the Launch Window and has to be released post launch.
It would suck if it wasn’t but I think it’s going to be there
For real. Halo Infinite needs to have forge and theater modes at launch, and I hope they are both severely updated with new content and tools to use, maybe even making theater mode more like the director mode from GTA 5.
IT would be really nice if they have those options, plus having ability to use FORGE on PC To makle some unique maps can HELP ALOT.
