I think they should increase the cost of silly armors, we all know these kinds of people would pay basically anything, so price the cat ears as 50 bucks and they’ll make a fortune, or any upcoming silly armors, I’d laugh at them even harder lol
I acknowledge Destiny always had a greedy monetization model even before Bungie was on their own. I’m not denying that. But, like you said, it has gotten worse after the departure (for obvious reasons).
And you are right on the fact that how monetization is done is ultimately dependant on what the upper management says and not on need. But what I meant is that Bungie is in a position where they need larger profit as they’re on their own. So they’re forced to monetize the game so heavily in some way for as long as they are an independent studio. I’m saying 343 is not in that position and Microsoft doesn’t exactly have to worry as much about their financial stability as Bungie does.
So pretty much all I’m saying is that Bungie is in a position where they need to monetize their game so heavily whereas 343 doesn’t need to. What 343 needs to do though is convince upper management that the monetization model should change. Simply put: no amount of feedback will change Destiny 2’s monetization very much, while Halo infinite’s monetization can be changed to more user-friendly based on feedback. That happened with Gears 5 and both Gears and Halo are Microsoft-owned IP’s and are made by Microsoft-owned studios, so I believe that Halo infinite’s monetization model will eventually be made better. How and when, I don’t know. But I’d prefer something similar to Gears 5’s.

Sad that’s how it is though. Not that you really see different Spartans atm, well I done anyway lol
