No. I don’t care about other people’s experiences, which is why I do the most unsportsmanly behavior in order to complete challenges, in addition to T-Bagging everyone for fun. BTB CTF in this game are the easiest and fastest wins I’ve ever gotten because I’m a good and fast driver. Thank you, unnecessarily tedious challenge system for making the Ultimate Challenge so easy to complete.

It’s not about people not playing the objective… It’s all about the lack of communication… Halo is not a run and gun type game like COD… with the lack of team-work it’s pretty impossible to play the objective without team-mates calling out positions on the map… if 3 of my team-mates are dead why would I run for the Flag, Ball, or Zone?? I’d just die and then repeat…

I agree with your friend that said winning is fun, but the fun gets sucked out of it when there’s zero progression tied to it. I enjoy playing previous Halo games (and MCC) because I get more XP/credits based on how well I played rather than being given the 50xp per game played on Infinite. When actually completing the game and AFKing quickplay matches rewards the same XP per game, the player has zero incentive to win.

If you play with randoms, expect random results. If a player refused to make friends and have friends in their lobby…it’s that players fault for jumping in with randoms. It just simply is. You can gripe all you want on here, and it realistically changes absolutely nothing.
Take it at face value…understand the games much more enjoyable with friends…make some or invite the people you enjoyed a match with. Halo is amazing with friends. I never play it alone. It’s usually a bad experience.

I think that 343 needs to cut back on the XP payouts for the daily “play any match” challenges and introduce a recurring “win any PvP match” challenge. Maybe battle pass progression would be a bit slower, but as it is right now, if you play for an hour a day, you could probably finish the battle pass by February without paying a dime. You’d also have more people actually playing the objective because winning a match is suddenly a surefire way to get XP.

None of this would be a problem if there were repeatable performance and winning rewards that can potentially boost each match to 150xp without guaranteeing it. I’d expect the best player on the winning teams to walk out with 300xp for doing amazing work, while the worst player on the losing team walks out with 50xp.
I find myself not giving a damn if we win or lose. That only matters to me in Ranked.

What happened to playing games for fun? Games used to be just fine without battlepasses and these silly rewards and I wish all that crap was gone because people like you only care about those silly little rewards instead of playing the actual game.
No, you join a game then you are absolutely under an obligation to play the game. You don’t have to play the way other want you to play, but you absolutely should be playing instead of sitting in spawn fingering yourself

here’s a tip for people. picking up the skull gives you points. i prefer having a team of bots over you people, cause i’ve seen a bot pick up the skull in oddball. do yourself a favor, leave the match and get a ban, please, for my sanity.

Halo Infinite has so little content and is so repetitive that I’ve gotten bored without something meaningful to grind for. No other Halo game has had this issue and that is why I still play them for fun.
