I guess that making an acceptable voice timing was not worth the effort…
It’s because when there’s different localizations involved, the facial animations are never in sync. 343 would need to reanimate them just to keep up with other languages.
I can’t stand dubbing, I find it ridiculous. It takes away all the naturality of the piece. And no I’m not english.

I’m okay with that, the problem is when the character is not talking anymore but you hear the voice for more than two seconds. That is when you start to get pissed.

The thing is that 343 can’t do anything about that, the localization studio is responsible for these things.
