It’s a disservice to the legacy of sound which Halo has had; Halo 4 broke off the orchestrated & cinematic sound and to me it lacked the feelings of emotions behind the scenes.
Looking back at any Halo game prior to H4, when you were in an epic moment, the music jazzed it up a few notches, but in Halo 4 it felt more empty. Sure some of them sounded alright but to me it lacked a more physical meaning which I could derive from orchestra/real instruments.
…Hell, the game menu intro of the girl doing the classic Halo theme sounds like it was added at the very last moment.
So how does the Halo Community feel about this?
