To simply put my reason why there should be no more skull finding and different achievements.
- Halo 3 Free for all achievements are tough
- I been spending hours completing every halo game on xbox 360 in preparation for The Master Chief Collection. I want to play the game for fun but I don’t think I would last hunting down the same skulls, terminals, and achievements. I think it should be like ODST where all skulls are available and you just need to hunt down the terminals.
- Achievements should be about exploring the Halo Universe. Like finding Bungie’s Halo Memorial in Halo Reach or the Scarab Gun on Halo 2.
Thoughts?

Skull finding is more fun then activating a skull from the beggining to give a boost (like Cowbell or bandanna) may will agree that skull finding was one of the most fun things to do in Halo 3.
I feel like you’re contradicting yourself on your final point.
Your title is “Please no more skulls finding/same cheevos” but your last one says we should be “exploring the Halo Universe”.
I disagree with you entirely though - I love looking for Skulls, especially on the first few days when no one has found them and they’re a mystery. If that isn’t your thing, wait a few days and look up some guides on YouTube. One of the biggest complaint about Halo 4 and Halo: Reach’s skulls is that they were unlocked from the get go.

Oh I remember when IWHBYD was just a whisper in the wind… the good old days.

Now I can’t agree with you. I love search for skulls and was massively disappointing when there was no skull finding in Halo ODST/Reach/4. I love the hunt for terminals and skulls. It was also a great way to explore the maps.
No, skulls are awesome to look for and find!
and FFA Achievements are easy…
I love the challenge behind the Halo 2 IWHBYD skull, I never got past a certain point getting to it because I ended up forgetting two whole steps…Ugh

I wrote the sequence on my TV lol!
I will end anyone who advocates the removal of skull hunting. I could understand ODST’s reasoning because it was simply an expansion pack to 3, but Reach and 4? Come the -Yoink- on.
The sole reason I want skull finding back is to watch the Heretic Grunts dancing around one of them. I don’t remember which one, though. I think it was Grunt Party(? (That’d make sense).
Finding skulls was definitely one of the more fun parts of campaign. I remember going on youtube for videos on all the skull locations and it was a blast getting to secret spots. IMO we should have to find them because they’re easter eggs that encouraged exploration.
What? Skull hunting is awesome and so is getting achievements for them.
thanks everyone for their input, I guess you Spartans are right. Although I wish they had more achievements that led to things like the Halo Memorial in Halo Reach.
