So i use bumper jumper from Halo 3 days and it doesn’t really accommodate a JETPACK as per Halo Reach
I know alot of mad Halo 3 players that don’t even bother playing reach because of the abilities.
Yes you can say “oh there is a playlist for halo 3 settings or no abilities” but that is a bit limited.
many users of jetpacks just use it to dominate.
It’s one of the most bk additions ever to the halo franchise.
For me it’s hopeless sometimes playing against a player with the same skill using a jet pack basically because I use bumper jumper.
If you have jetpacks in halo 4 you have failed befored the game is even released.
All it should be is a tweak of halo 3.

I have pondered this for a while, if you know bumbler jumper, one has to take thumb off right joystick to press x for equipment, which is fine for everything except JETPACK.
But anyway, jetpacks are for noobs, and master chief doesn’t have it in halo 3 so why will Spartans have it in halo 4.
Jetpacks are bad. I know too many players that won’t even bother playing or buying this game just because of jetpacks.

It’s in the list of confirmed things to be in Halo 4 that is stickied to the top of this forum. I don’t know an exact source, but it might have been the Game Informer Article.

So what your telling me is, that you’re complaining about how you can’t use jetpacks but also that jetpacks are for bad kids? It really shouldn’t bother you if aren’t going to use it.
