Yes we have all seen the pics of the new helmet and chest piece.
As this is no doubt the last remaining piece of unlockable armor, I’m just hoping 343 Industries will make it hard to achieve, or Halo: Reach will become an army of [insert armor name here] clones.
Some thoughts on how I think the armor should be unlocked.
- Achieve all achievements in all Halo games. (maybe this will even create more game sales)
- Vidmasters, but very hard time consuming ones. (all previous Halo Vidmasters also required)
- Unlocked at Mythic rank.
- 2,000,000 cR’s
I’m not saying all the above needs to be achieved, these are just ideas. what is the point to having a unique piece of armor if it is so easy to aquire?
Please make this the new Halo 3 Recon.

Everybody keeps saying this “There is no NEW armor coming with the Defiant Map Pack” we know how the industry has a way of fine tuning their words.
The armor might not be “NEW” it may already be on the disc.
If I remember correctly, the shots were taken from Dev kits where they have access to armor that will never show up nor made it on to the disc. - but feel free to correct me if I am wrong (as I probably am).
And also, just to be silly, I would think that unreleased armor is already rare, since it is, you know, unreleased.

Ya, Bungie said that Certain Affinity was working with the post release version of Reach, so it can’t be anything like that.
If that’s true, then I’ll go with what bs angel has said in the past with what DeepCee has quoted.
