I paid for all of the dlc maps and I’ve barely played them cos they’re stuck in their own list.
I say make the dlc maps free and at least then we’ll get to play them before Reach dies in 2 months. Anyone else aagree?

It has achievements linked to it, it will never be free.
Take it up with Microsoft, their rule, their problem.
Also, if they’re going to make any DLC free, it should be Halo 3’s & Halo Wars first.

Never gonna happan. well they do say to never say never, but they run a business. Put yourself in thier shoes and the fact that there is more than one entitiy involved. It’s fine the way it is. Plus if you follow the game there is more than enough time to get the cheevos when they drop unless you’re like me where you have to leave home for your job on the regualr, and i still have most of them.

That’s not REALLY true. There are free games out there with achievements.

Free games aren’t DLC though are they?
1st map pack should be free like in Halo 3 and the other 2 should be dirt cheap now.

All Gears of War 1 DLC is now free and have achievements tied to them.
343 could make it free, but they would probably have to spring some money to MS to do it.

Gears of War came out in 2006, as far as I can see, that rule became established long after that.
Hence why once again, all the Halo Wars DLC is full priced and the Halo 3 DLC is still costly.

Technically, the only DLC maps that have their own playlist are the Anniversary maps. The Defiant and Noble map packs are found in most other slayer playlists, as integrated from the removal of the Squad DLC playlist.
No way, I paid for it, I don’t want someone else getting it for free, maybe like 2 years from now, but not now, that would be an even bigger waste of money.
You’d have a much better chance of getting your wish if you just asked them permanently to cut the price of the map packs in half. I’m not saying it would happen, but we already know they’re never going to make them free.
