I really want to use the BR but in recent studies the BR kills slower than the DMR, which in my opinion sucks, so please 343i make the damage for the DMR and BR the same so they kill at the same exact speed or whatever.
Their damage is the same (well, 5 bursts from a BR is equivalent to 5 shots from a DMR).
BR should be a 4 shot considering that at least 2-4 bullets (depending on lag and player and spread) will miss, unless you know how to use it.

That’s why I like it, personally; it takes more skill to use it correctly. Last time Bungie took pity on less-skilled players, we ended up with Armor Lock and luck-dependent bloom. Anything to actually make me work for my kills is something I can appreciate

The only people who say that are the ones that think you have to fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. Bloom was for skilled players that didn’t just mash the trigger.

I tried NOT to mash the trigger, but it seemed like when I paced my shots I managed to get out-done by people who were firing the DMR like an AR when we were at longer ranges; lots of people would complain about it on the Reach forums on the Bungie site. It got quite annoying actually

Bloom is for people that cant aim and need to slow down those that can. Pace your shots, get owned by spamming… Spam, get owned by pacing. It was highly random at all ranges. Bloom in Reach was a devastating decision to the fanbase, and the game in general. Despite my arguments about Halo 4, I am oh so thankful they at least went back to “Classic” Halo in regards to no bloom.

I agree but the DMR needs to have a slower killtime, not an equal killtime. If it were the same then all that range (and so on…) would still leave the DMR 100% superior to the BR.
