I don’t know who to ask 343i or Microsoft itself?
For what I’ve heard Noble and Defiant map packs contains some nice maps that are getting wasted on separate playlist that little who plays. They’re old and no one will actually buy them. At the same time other playlists are flooded with Forge maps, which where released because after 1,5 year everyone is bored with default maps.
Please make Noble and Defiant map packs free, so everyone can download it, and put those maps into default playlists.
I know it’s a boldly request, but it will make many people interested in Reach again.
Microsoft control the prices, some of Halo 3’s DLC still cost after four years, coming up five, it is not likely Reach’s DLC will be free any time soon.

Anyone interested in Halo 3 multiplayer can buy ODST, with all maps ever made (that’s main reason why Halo 3 ODST sold in over 6 million copies). For Reach there will be no opportunity to do something similar. At the present rate little who will play Reach before Halo 4 comes out. Adding more maps for free could maintain interest in Halo franchise. That would be more precious for -Yoink!- than 800 points for each map pack (800 points that no one will spend).
They should have released all of the Reach DLC with CE anniversary…

I was hoping to buy Anniversary and have all the Reach DLC included, I still plan on buying because it looks fantastic but I would really like to play the Noble and Defiant map packs, but won’t pay for something that nobody is playing. I was hoping they would become free to.

I remember when a few of the map packs became free several months after release, they should definitely do it with all reach map packs now…

What 343 needs to do is make DLC required for all playlist besides team slayer.
What 343 needs to do with Halo 4 is make a forge so expansive and so versatile that DLC is almost rendered useless.
Every month or so they come out with new maps in forge world, or community maps for infection, grifball, btb. The Squad DLC playlist has so few players, but it can’t be removed because people payed money for it, they would feel cheated out of their cash, and you would see threads of hate coming out on the forums. So why not just release the DLC map packs. With 2-300 people in the dlc playlist it’s hard to get the dlc only achievements, and with halo 4 scheduled for the late year not many people will probably spend $$$ on more reach. With all the updated maps in forge world and edited maps in the default playlists, I think it is a no brainer to make dlc free. It would add a huge variety into the mix and all players would be able to get higher halo score. Also Since there is a limited space for playlists, then if dlc was made into a free download, the squad dlc playlist could be removed, thus adding a new space for a new playlist. Just make the dlc’s a required free download, an ‘update’ for the game.
