Hi, this topic regards the unpleasant halo reach matchmaking experience. Ok Here is the deal. When I play swat or snipers, that entails just headshots for swat and just snipers for team snipers. If I play Invasion, I do not want to play invasion slayer. If I play title update, put title update on another playlist. Look I understand that microsoft is not paying 343 money to pay for server maintenance and it costs money for more playlists and servers. I also know that the halo community will need to increase in population to even consider adding new playlists. Look just please don’t add a bunch of objective gametypes to the general playlist like swat or double team.

Please Understand that “adding more playlists” meaning take away from current playlists and separating the game mechanics for DMR Shot pacing and organizing those into their own playlist names.

They aren’t going to ADD playlists and are very likely going to be taking playlists away actually.

I don’t think I understand what you’re even asking. Go into super slayer if you don’t want just headshots, snipers, or objective.

There’s currently 25 playlists in reach: you want more!? With the current terrible, fractured state of Reach’s multiplayer, you actually want more playlists? If reach ever actually gets its consolidation update, there will be considerably less playlists and matchmaking will be streamlined to get rid of redundancies. TU should also go global so there’s not three different sets of game mechanics in matchmaking, as well as having slayer/super slayer.

They are already at the max amount of playlists that the game allows, and there needs to be significantly less playlists than there are right now.

They need to consolidate playlists and settings. Reach is a complete mess in terms of playlists with Vanilla Reach, 343i TU and anniversary.

Don’t even start me on settings, I’m so sick of having to remember which pace to use with my DMR or bleedthrough melees etc.

I’ll be glad when Halo 4 ships to “streamline playlists”, as Frankie stated.

There ARE separate TU and Vanilla playlists already. There is literally no more room for any more playlists. And with Halo 4 launching in a couple months, they are going to be consolidating in Reach - not adding.

This game doesn’t need to add more playlists that will just carry small populations. It needs to consolidate the playlists it has.
