Probably not going to happen. Would LOVE it to but I dont see it happening for quite awhile.
aww the good old PC days when you could forge an entire map to your design and share it with the owrld like Free DLC and it was amazing. people want to have these forge options on console but its never going to happen. thats why i want a legendary forge program on pc that you can improt onto Halo 4 files vie flashdrive
Would be sweet to have at least a port, but it’s up to Microsoft, and for whatever reason they don’t seem keen on the idea of having PC versions of Halo games lately.

If Halo 4 was for the PC, I would like it to share the XBL server and then we can play PC vs XBox!!!

Pretty sure all people think its a good idea but its not going to happen for awhile.
Its unlikely, considering how poor Halo 2 Vista sold.

Whats worse is that it was a VERY shoddy port.
-No custom resolution
-TERRIBLE KB+M controls
-pretty limited editor
If Microsoft actually released a good port (CE was a good port) then they would probably get sales. However they will probably go “Well Halo 2 did bad so no more Halo on PC!!!”

Fact is Halo 2 bombed because it was a bad port and Microsoft have no interest in doing another Halo PC title at this time. We still haven’t gotten Halo 3 yet.

We know, but Microsoft has no current plans to port more Halo games onto the PC at this time.
I know but some peoople say the reason for this is Halo2 look at other PC games like Crysis 2 and many others.

Well Microsoft pretty much abandoned the PC gaming market. They are trying to make a comeback though with Windows 8 due to the fact every copy of Windows 8 comes built with Xbox Live in it. They also will be selling XBLA games on Windows 8.
So if XBL on Windows 8 does good I would expect a new Halo PC game wouldn’t be too far off, but as of right now there are no plans.

Regardless of your idea being good it doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.
Microsoft owns 343 and they aren’t prepared to loose a couple thousand to port the game over to PC.
Well Window8 will be conected to Xbox Live so it might be able to have Halo4 for PC.
Halo and Gears are the only few good games that are Xbox exclusive…if Halo goes to PC why would I even consider keeping my Xbox. I would instead stick to PS3 and PC which would make a better choice. Halo needs to stay exclusive.
