If Sega genesis games can be remade on the marketplace… I’m sure it wouldn’t be that hard to make Halo 2 on the marketplace. We already know it can be played over live on the 360 so why not fix the ghosting issues remove the campaign and throw Halo 2 multiplayer up on the marketplace for 800 msp? Halo 2 multiplayer arcade doesn’t need a special date to be released. I would bet my life that Halo 2 would be the most successful arcade game to date.
I’d pay a lot more then 800 MS points for this.

yeah and then make it so you earn halo reach commendations without altering gameplay. that might be asking for too much (compatibility issues) but I’m sure we can all agree that would be pretty sick right?

I’d do just about anything for this. It’s free money honestly, why hasn’t it been done already?
This is a great idea. I would even pay $60 for this. Im sure many others would also. But i really doubt they will do this.

They should leave it offline and remake the game and some maps for Halo 4 in 2014.
but if they do make a remake, you should be able to switch from new graphics to old graphics, like they did in the halo anniversary.

The servers are being used for Halo: Reach and Halo 3. Halo 2’s multiplayer isn’t coming back.
That may be but I think if its on the marketplace that would be cool since it was a pretty fun game overall. I never played xbox live on Halo 2 I just loved playing it with my friends at home but the game sadly got pretty scratched up.

Considering the fact that their are more people playing now a days those numbers don’t mean anything to me. The other Halos had to ride off of the success of the previous games. We should look at the lifespan of the games. Halo 2 remained number one on the original xbox charts forever…
