I probably should have put a /s because that was meant to be a sarcastic joke spending cash one a single armor set seems pretty dumb in my opinion and in Achilles case its like buying a big loud truck or gun to fake your strength instead of actually putting in the work to get the strength yourself.

No just no everything in this game is rng based the achillies armor set is the only thing in the game that shows you have time and dedication put into this game with 99 other people if they made it purchaseable people will get angry heck my spartan company is 3 away from achillies armor and we grinded for weeks just so someone can buy it.

no that would be stupid. I would be very pissed off if they did this! All the time I have put in to my Spartan Company would be wasted! It is one of the few reason why I’m still playing Halo atm.
I really wouldn’t care if they sold it at this point. It’s long enough in its life cycle that it doesn’t hold much prestige anymore. A lot of the less familiar companies have started getting it, so I’d say it’s fair game to give everyone the opportunity now.
I’m in favor of this. All armors should be purchasable for 1-2 dollars. Give people options while also making more money. Sounds like a win / win to me.
Hell they did it for that legendary armor. I definitely didn’t play all of them on legendary but now I have all of them.

I was stuck in the spin cycle for years in WoW. Let me tell you something from experience to save you years of ‘waste’…
If your above quote is true, stop playing Halo and play a game you actually enjoy. In the end, having fun should be the reason you’re playing. Rewards are just an extra bonus.
I think they will eventually add it to the req pool. Unfortunately what little luster it had was tarnished by the farming companies who first got it.

Just because you have earned it, and your company is soooo prestigious (hint: you’re infamous, not famous), you think no one else wants a sign that they too have also ground for it (while not farming the -Yoink- out of randoms)?

Agreed. After the first month I saw it everyday. Still wish helioskrill kept its value. No one looks at a achilies guy and says wow he worked hard. They say wow he managed to get into a company who got it. Helioskrill. People knew you did a serious grind.

True. Just so true. That’s what I thought when I read this. Like who plays for one single end goal. Except to have fun.
