Please make a reason to play to win already

But its not about what you are willing to do or don’t. Its about how it would affect the game. If you choose to sweat and grind because you can get those kills to grind that pass quickly, then that’s definitely on your choice. But if it affects the casual experience for others then there is the problem. If you could, you would stay in low rank just because grinding could be much easier.

A good way for casual and grind players to get what they want is having the main focus of xp be on medals. Though again, not against K/D xp gaining, just don’t want that to be the main focus.

I think this system is best for a traditional level-up like what past Halo games did. The battle pass should stay consistent. So in my eyes, there should be two leveling bars.

Definitely agree, I never knew how my cousins could enjoy repeating the same challenges on each weapon to get a gold skin. Then prestige (practically reset all your stats) and do it all over again…

I agree that farming is a waste of time, i stopped playing destiny 2 because of that. But i’d rather grind once and then stop completely instead of doing it every week/month

if the game was actually fun, winning wouldn’t matter. from my experience nothing is fun here anymore. im really trying to enjoy it but it gets worse every time.
i remember in h2 and 3 n such, i didnt play to unlock stuff, i played because it was fun.

Right now my playing of Infinite consists of just going in, completing the Challenges before the weekend, and then just playing a bunch of other games during the weekend. Tuesday comes around, repeat.

Honestly, as a casual player, I do kind of like this weekly formula as I do find Infinite to be fun in these bursts and I don’t get burnt out by it. However, there definitely needs to be another progression option such as a ranking bar, along with more activities such as a Firefight mode where I’ll be more inclined to play it for more reasons other than the Challenges.

Hopefully I’ll still be inclined to play when Season 3 comes around and we have more information/tools to use such as Forge and the mode that Certain Affinity is cooking up.

Yeah. I’ve similar criticisms as to how the challenges are structured. Personally, I’d like to see a more performance based reward system.
