Growing up, I didn’t have Xbox Live, I just had family and friends, so the options we played with were designed for casual play where new players who aren’t very good at video games can keep up with more experienced players. Everyone spawned with two random weapons, while the leader would only get one along with nerfed shields and damage. so my Dad could keep up with my older brother, and everyone got a chance to try every weapon, even if it doesn’t naturally spawn on that map.
Halo Infinite doesn’t currently offer settings like this. I was looking forward to some custom Free-for-All games with my friends to celebrate Halo: Infinite’s release, but I can’t really create the experience I was wanting to and have had with every split-screen Halo up to this point.
