I don’t know where this topic goes, so I just put it here.
SPOILER ALERT FOR HALO 4
at the very end of the halo 4 campaign, master chief basically activated a HAVOC nuke… and survived.
Or at least I think that was a HAVOC nuke. I need some one to tell me what that thing what kind of nuke it was and how he survived it
He survived because Cortana merged his personal shield with the Forerunner Hard-Light bridge, creating a barrier between him and the nuke strong enough to protect him from the ensuing blast.
The nuke was the HAVOC.

He slammed it with his hand, but didn’t punch it if that makes sense

He was also teleported away, but I don’t know which came first.

How do you figure “teleported away”. After his farewell with Cortana, he’s still in the midst of the Mantle’s Approach’s wreckage now falling into Earth’s gravity. I didn’t notice evidence of him having been teleported.

When their conversation is ending, you just start to see the debris falling behind Chief, meaning he had to have been teleported away. I’ve read it someone too, but I forgot where.
Edit: Also Cortana says she only had enough left to get him OFF the ship.

We’ve seen teleportation, and that effect isn’t seen in this scene. It makes more sense to me that the slow appearance of the falling debris is the result of increasing visibility due to the collapse of the Hard Light Box Cortana crafted to manifest her avatar.

We don’t know if teleportation isn’t seen as it just fades to white and then the cutscene plays. I also don’t think the we even see the hard light box start to lose power and become more transparent. The screens starts to vibrate when the debris shows up and the shield doesn’t look any less transparent than before. Plus, if it was havoc nuke, the parts closest to it should be disintegrated or shot outwards, not flying around right where it detonated. Also, we cannot forget Cortana says she only had enough energy to get him OFF the ship, meaning he had to have been teleported away.
thanks guys for the information
