If we’re going to be forced to play a certain way in order to progress (by gaining xp by completing arbitrary “challenges”) it sure would be nice if I could see them while in a match, so I actually know what I’m working towards and the progress of each.

Yup TOTALLY AGREED. Additionally, once a challenge is completed in match, a new challenge should populate its place so that lets say you had 4 challenges, one of which was get 5 AR kills. You could complete that challenge and then the get 10 kills with the sidekick could take its place so you could immediately begin progressing on the next one.
Obviously this wouldn’t always allow you to continue progressing because it could be another game type specific challenge but I think it would be a nice feature along side seeing your challenges in game

I also agree with that. A way of seeing active challenges while still in a match would be a great way of tracking what you still have to do to complete it.
It’s not the end of the world if you need to go back to the challenge section but it’ll be easier if we can have it real time. Like do I need another kill with X weapon or am I done yet ? Do I need more assists or I can kill more ?

As long as they make it an option, and preferably if it’s text isn’t as large as the text chat ( which I wish could be scaled down ). I see no issues with this request.
