Because you didn’t report him? Hello? Have you not seen how active the mods have been here lately?
Unfortunately 343 is a poorly ran company like The Coalition. It has been proven throughout this whole mess 343 can’t be trusted. I don’t want to say they’re liars but lack of a better term we’ll call them liars.
Disappointment often results in harsh responses from the ones receiving the content.
its understandable at best, never pretty.
That disappointment typically results in people leaving. Yet for some reason they still hang around here. And worst of all, pretend to be your best friend after you’ve done what they wanted completely forgetting how much crap they’ve said to you…
Because they still care, in a way thats a good thing, as harsh as it is atm, it shows that there are people who still care and are just frustrated with the continued failings
yeh thats a fandom, fickle and nasty, but treat em “right” and they will serenade you.
if people just left then…thats it, at that point Apathy is highly likely to set in, and at that point they would never return.
the main problem rn is that 343 has committed to a business model I suspect they were woefully unprepared for while the “community” expects it to live up to that model’s standard, which 343 is not capable of doing, the live service ten year plan model has to be danced by both sides, if not its not going to go well.
I understand your frustration at people jumping to the worst possible conclusion due to constant disappointments and over promising, but at the same time I really can’t blame them. at least not them soul-ly.
For jumping to the worst possible conclusions. Of course not. However, I’m not so sure about bombarding the posts celebrating certain devs with hate.
That’s what’s bothering me.
This right here.
I am “this” close to dropping the game, but I truly want it to succeed.
I want Halo to be good again.
My hope and patience is running very thin though
Buddy, you might as well drop it for the time being.
After 4 months of nonstop playing, it got old.
given how many people there are, its unsurprising, and not all of them are as…reserved when it comes to expressing their disappointment and rage, especially when its just them lashing out, looking for the easiest one nearby and hitting them in turn.
Okay, something is not right here. Staten isn’t stupid and has been around since the original Halo and has done some great work.
I don’t buy this BS that this sounds more like 343.
Staten was/is a storyboard writer if I’m not mistaken.
He has also been around to know exactly what the original Halo"s were about. Just saying, it doesn’t take brain surgery to learn and use what has worked for Halo.
The reply was more 343 using Staten in hopes to put the player base at ease. Sorry, not sorry, it didn’t work especially for those like myself that have been around for years.
I watched the Sean W video. It seems he’s talking about a type of Halo FOMO. A fear of missing out on a truly great Halo game once 343i rights this sinking ship. But it’s been over 6 years and three attempt, my patience is all but gone…
@ Joseph Staten Per your request:
- You need to fix the custom games area. It’s broken!
- What is broken you say??? Here is what is broken:
A. You cannot change maps with a modded game mode.
B. You cannot change Modded Game Modes.
C. You cannot connect to those Microsoft Azure Game Servers with a modded game mode,
D. You can’t edit a game mode that was has been edited after you have left tha game!
REF: Custom Games!
Ok here is the “ONLY WAY” I can connect to those Microsoft Azure Servers
with a custom game mode!
After you have edited your custom mode and saved it!
Goto server and select offline.
Select Map “FIRST”
Select Your “Custom Game Mode that you edited”.
Hit Play
After starting the game for 10 secs. leave game then leave game.
As fast you you can goto server select Xbox Live.
and hit play as fast as you can.
It’s a Mickey Mouse way of doing it but it works
about 90% of the time. It’s the only way I can
connect to those damn Microsoft Azure Game Servers!
Side Note: This is a good reason why we need our own Dedicated Server Software!

.
We really need a “CUSTOM GAME BROWSER” so we can start playing our custom game modes!! IMHO there is no damn excuse not to have one. Hell Halo Combat Evolved, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 2A, Halo Online and Halo MCC has a Custom Game Browser!! Why in the hell can’t we have a Custom Game Browser for Halo Infinite so we can at least play’n our Custom Game Modes?? ![]()
I have sent 2 videos months ago to tec support for proof and still no fix!
Here is one of the videos fro proof!

Sorry
I see no reason to buy this game until you guys fix the Custom Game Area PERIOD!
I get where you’re coming from. I think it’s a balanced observation. However, let me give one example that has been gnawing at me: Microsoft/Xbox spent over $68 billion for Activision Blizzard. Now, I don’t think it would be too out of line to simply ask that maybe Microsoft/Xbox could have spent another few hundred million more to make sure that the franchise that put more Xboxes into people’s homes than any other game would actually have as many features as the previous Halo games…
Was this a verbal telling or a twitter telling - is there photo evidence?
I agree, something just doesn’t feel right at 343i.
4 months of nonstop playing?
I haven’t played regularly since January
I know how you feel. The current state of Halo Infinite has sucked the motivation out of me to simply turn on my Xbox.
Oh I was talking about me.
My point was, halo infinite isnt worth playing at the moment
