Please Just Fix Mute

I’m sure I’m not the only one who is constantly annoyed by this, but mute refusing to work after a few online games is starting to get really, really annoying. I started a Warzone Assault match today, and spent 16 minutes having to listen to some complete moron chomping away on crisps, I cannot bear to mute the whole game and I shouldn’t have to.
I should say for the record I do not mute if people are actually being helpful or trying to make everyone work as team, but if I have to hear one more American spend 15 minutes screaming down his mic about “lag” (yeah right) I’m gonna stop playing.

Simply say, “will the bloke chewing on crisps, kindly mute your microphone.”

You Brits and your tasteless crips.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this! It’s so annoying, especially when it stops working when someone is using a kinect mic…

What are you talking about? If you hold the back button (whatever its called now) you can mute individual players.

Also, sorry for my country, the word “lag” is a term of endearment towards people in other countries.

“will the bloke chewing on crisps, kindly mute your talky-voice-wand*.”

Will you please get a mic instead of using Kinect!

Yeah that’s what I’m on about, that stops working after like 4 games every time I come on Halo 5.
And its us that has to put up with the worse latency, you guys have the advantage but its only ever Americans I hear complaining on mics!

Ok the mute thing is actually an xbox problem if you have it set to quick start, I had it too and it would always happen then I set it to slow start and never again has it happened. Another solution is start a party, you dont even need someone in it and the game mics will be muted as long as you’re in “party chat”.

Oh I see what you mean! My bad dude.

Hey man, I don’t complain about lag. But I’m also not one of the hundreds of seven year olds on Halo 5…

Yeah, the whole communication culture in this game is a joke.

I literally only put it on quick start once a week for updates, it’s on energy saving 90% of the time!
And that party idea is simple and genius, thanks I never thought of that!

So turning off quick start fixes it? Hallelujah!

I’ve had to leave games because a teammate would have entire conversations with someone in their vicinity who was not part of the game, nor was the conversation part of the game. I’ve since learned how to mute a player in the middle of a game, but before that, I’ve had to leave a game because of somebody with a total lack of gaming etiquette.

Is it still broken?!?! Holy effing crap!

I’ve been playing Battlefront for a bit and was hoping this crap would be fixed two updates ago. I was going to go back to Halo this weekend but I found not being able to mute people so bloody annoying, I may have to wait.

Thanks for the heads up.

I find it really difficult to find the offending player mid game. Drives me nuts. they really need to fix the mute all situation.
