Ignore please the people misunderstood what I meant, I’m sorry.

If you are rage quitting because someone stole your kill you need to reevaluate your life.

SWAT has always been a team gametype except for that atrocious spin off in Halo 2.

its funny bc this happens in every other mode. so by your logic the game isn’t a team game. this is why you get medals for doing stupid stuff like distracting and assisting. you’re being rewarded for not killing anymore.

OP, you have absolutely no concept of teamwork in Halo. Teamshooting is NOT the only method of team work and it doesnt matter who gets the kill, it goes to the same exact goal.

It’s not about you and your K/D spread, it’s about whether your team wins. I’d be upset if I was going after two enemies and a teammate didn’t back me up.

Its not really your kill if you never shot them is it? OP This thread topic completely contradictory to the thread post… just thought I would point that out.

IT DOESNT HAPPEN IN OTHER GAMEMODES YOU PRETARDS!
OTHER GAMEMODES HAVE SHIELDS, THUS GIVING YOU AN ACTUAL FIGHTING CHANCE!
AND I DO KNOW WHAT HALO’S ABOUT!
I’VE BEEN PLAYING SINCE 2002 AND GET A EVEN 230 AVERAGE ON SWAT WHEN I’M NET CHEATED OUT OF KILLS!

I WAS SUGGESTING THEY ADD NON-TEAM GAMEMODES SO YOU ALL ALL UNOBSERVANT DOLTS!

ALSO, IN OTHER GAMETYPES EVEN IF THEY SHOT THE PREY FIRST, I COULD HAVE KILLED THE PREY!

You were what? 2 years old In 2002? You obviously Have no idea what you are talking about swat is more of a team gametype than any other.

> It’s not about you and your K/D spread, it’s about whether your team wins. I’d be upset if I was going after two enemies and a teammate didn’t back me up.

ahh but this game doesn’t promote teamworks. its all about getting kills to build up your ordinance meter so you can get that saw to get more kills. not teamwork.

at least in COD playing individually will reward your team more bc some of the killstreaks will actually help the team more then you as a individual. halo 4 is more about the individual unless you are playing in a party

This is SWAT… there is no ordinance meter.

I was 5 and I very much understood the core storyline and meaning of Halo.

How can you be certain that you didn’t steal the other guys kill, genius?

There’s no such thing as kill stealing in a team-based format. Priority #1 is for your team to win. Priority #2 is for you to finish 1st on your team.

> This is SWAT… there is no ordinance meter.

So what, you can still be cheated out of kills bcuz the opponent shot first. It’s shields that make playing on teams fair.

What still does not make sense to me it that you are saying that the kill was YOURS… who knows maybe you would have died by that enemy and your team mate just saved you, anything can happen.

welcome to swat, since obviously you have never played it before.

> I hate it, I enter SWAT, kill off one guy, and then just as I’m about to get a double-kill, my prey is stolen!!!

How are you cheated out of kills? its your fault you never got the kill faster. So the kill rightfully belongs to your team mate.

Either way, it’s not fair. If they I saw them there first I’d gladly let them kill in the area. But sadly, I am at one place, killing. And then someone comes in whhen he wasn’t nearby a second ago.

Also:

Priority 1: Have dun, which I can’t have if someones being a complete dolt

Priority 2: Get you team to win. But we don’t kill nearly as much if we’re all stuck in one place. If we fanned out, we could have control of the map.

Priority 3: Finish 1st out of ALL teams. But I can’t do that if someone is stealing my kills.

And BTW, most times I play SWAT, my team is either ahead or on par w/ the opponents.

Ok this thread just needs to be locked.

In a game where headshots are one hit kills, how can a person steal your kill?

> No it does not. I was in the area first, I killed the guy next to him first so it’s common sense that I was gunna kill him.
