PLEASE HELP! Strange Connectivity Problems!

So, I’ve read about being in different ‘hoppers’ while the xbox live servers are unavailable. I haven’t been able to connect to them for about 20 hours now.

I am completely unable to do spartan ops. I can not join friends in any fashion. HOWEVER unlike the description of being in a ‘fallback hopper’ I have retained my level, but NOT my loadouts (I had to recreate them).

So I only have SOME of the issues depicted in the fallback hopper scenario.

(WTF are hoppers anyway, do they mean servers?)

The matchmaking list for wargames is smaller, and there are less than 1,500 people currently playing.

Where the hell am I? What’s going wrong and how do I fix it? I haven’t downloaded/changed anything on my Xbox since I bought the game, it’s worked fine up until today.

Can anyone help me out? Are my stats even saving if I complete games? I receive <1000 xp every game anyway, so no point in playing ATM if they are. I’d just like to know WTF is going on.

Ok guys I don’t know if baby jesus answered my prayers or if I fixed this, but I was having that same “server” problem where you can’t connect to your friends and are reset to SR 1. Anyhow the way I fixed it (IF I fixed it) was by downloading waypoint and entering it on my xbox console. It worked immediately afterwards!

Re-downloaded halo 4 Waypoint, nothing. But apparently there’s a new update for spartan ops 2? So I re-downloaded spartan ops. No dice, same “Unable to connect to the halo 4 servers” dog -Yoink- I’ve been getting all day.

This is ridiculous. $60 for a game that I can’t play less than a week later. It’s clear that the spartan ops episode 2 patch bugged us, and I don’t even have a support # to call.
