I saw an enemy spartan (H3) on the red team but his leg armor was black… not techsuit. Is this a mod? or glitch?
It’s a glitch. The anniversary update broke a few pieces of armor’s shaders, causing them to be pitch-black ingame. The armor parts this applies to are the Navigator legs and chestpiece, as well as the Hammerhead arms.

to add to what PeppyMintyuwu said: the Soldier chest is also broken and locked to a default pose when loaded in, and the Season 7 Elite armor legs are all using the wrong waist armor as the proper piece was missed during the porting (the Elite waist is stored on the Cleric set like the Spartan waist was stored on Soldier, but unlike Soldier the Cleric set was never added in Season 7)

I literally filed a ticket about this one update and it was resolved the next.

aye, some people were mentioning that it started happening again around Season 8 and the 20th anniversary update.
given that Soldier was the storage set for H:O Spartans (like Cleric was for the Elites), I actually wonder if it’s being caused by the addition of the new armor sets that aren’t from H:O
