Please help low population playlists

By now you must be aware that with the splitting of the Halo 5 population between different regional servers, we have playlists with next to no players. This may not happen in larger regions, such as the US servers, but for those of us in smaller regions such as Australia, the options are pretty limited. At this point FFA and BTB are non-existent, and Warzone Assault received a one day boost with the release of Urban. Yesterday was the first and only time I have been able to play WA, I enjoyed it, I enjoyed BTB when I was able to find games in it, and I enjoyed FFA in past Halo games, yet none of these modes are available to me anymore. I know I’m not the only one with this problem. Australians bring it up constantly on these forums, as do people from other small countries such as Guam. There are a number of ways I can think of to solve this, all of which should be very obvious. All I’m asking is that you implement some sort of solution to this problem and breathe some new life into this game I enjoy so much.

Sucks to hear mate. I hope they solve a lot of the international issues by the next update.

They really need to. The longer they leave it the worse it’ll get.

Save your breath mate. Many of us have brought this up time and again. I’d be surprised if anything will change. I think we’re too late on the breathing new life thing. That ship sailed months ago. Change may help keep the existing fan base for a little longer though.

My advice, try and find some Americans willing to invite you to games. On the rare occasion I get a chance to play with people from the US it takes about 5-10 secs to find a game in any playlist. Other than in SWAT the greater ping is manageable (at least at the casual gold/platinum level).

The low player pop for me has made arena unplayable even in the lists with more than 8 players (I honestly doubt that there is many more than a couple dozen players playing lists like slayer at any given time.

I’m a little tired (as a platinum ranked average skilled casual player who runs games solo) getting matched against teams consisting of diamond and onyx players. I’m even finding Onyx players 2-3 games into grading there is so few players playing. The only reason I even jump into arena games now is when I’ve had enough of the completely broken warzone spawning system and need a break.

If it wasn’t for my crippling OCD regarding the need to open all REQ packs I would have quit months ago and gone back to Destiny.

There’s definitely more than a couple of dozen in Slayer and Team Arena. I can go through dozens of matches without ever playing with the same people.

Merging low population regions would help 343 and us in the long run.

I think they also need to show the population of each playlist so you know not to waste your time.

See, I don’t think that’s a solution to this problem at all. All that’s going to do is deter the few people looking to play in that playlist from trying at all, killing it even faster.
