Can someone tell me if Halo:CEA is going to have all the maps. I’m a competetive Halo player and need to know so that if it doesn’t i can buy reach again and put off buying HCEA till later because I need all the maps for MLG so if anyone can help please do so. Also if you don’t know FOR SURE please do not post anything I dont want to be mislead.
The multiplayer is like how odst was for Halo 3. There bringing 7 maps from halo ce, halo 2 and halo pc and putting them into reach.

Yeah but are the reach maps gonna be on the same disk or is it just the 7 multiplayer maps that come with it?
Most likely Yes, Gutting the Campaign from the multiplayer disk and have all multiplayer maps thus far created included. Like Halo 3 ODST. Plus its 40 dollars so its a good deal.

No no no… you just receive those 7 new maps in the disc, it has been already said they didn’t want it to be like ODST!
But you’ll be able to download them from the Anniversary disc onto your Hard Drive and used them along with the earlier maps when putting the original Halo Reach disc.
No, however if you can borrow reach from a friend, you can download the CEA maps on to that.
Then you can play all of Reach’s maps + CEA 7 new maps on the CEA disk.

343 has thoroughly explained SEVERAL times now that you MUST HAVE Halo Reach to have access to all of the maps. The Halo Anniversary disk only has the 6 new multiplayer maps, + the 1 firefight map on-disk. But it also comes with the ability to download the Anniversary Map Pack to your hard-drive. There is not, and will never be a way to play the default Halo Reach maps on your Halo Anniversary game disk.
Do not listen to any different answer. This has been CONFIRMED several times over.
