Ok, so I got online and played 2 games with my friends and the it wouldn’t let us play together. It kept refusing to connect and even search for games. We all reset our systems and still couldn’t play together. The 2 of them could get into a game together without me and I could get into a game alone but whenever we are together as a party it refuses to work all of a sudden? Can someone Please help me with this? Thanks!

There are a few things you can do. First, try powercycling your networking equipment (turn your modem and/or router off for 15 seconds then turn them back on).
If that doesn’t work, try clearing your system’s cache by going to the dashboard, then system settings, then memory. Press “Y” and clear your cache. Do it twice, to make sure, then turn off your system for at least 30 seconds (You may want to powercycle your networking equipment again while it’s off). When you turn the 360 back on, you will have to redownload game updates, but it will probably fix your connection issues.
If you still have issues, try contacting your ISP to see if there’s an issue with your connection that’s on their end, otherwise it may be that your router is too strict with your connection (resulting in a Moderate or Strict NAT) and you need to portforward for Xbox LIVE. If none of that fixes the issue, it may be that one of your devices is malfunctioning.
If your xbox throws up error or status codes, write them down and try again. If you get the same codes even after trying the initial solutions, call Xbox LIVE support.
Don’t just rush into resetting your cache, you risk losing saved films/gametypes etc.
First off:
What is the error message you receive and when do you get it? Can you connect through xbox connect party or live chat? Or just the lobby? Can you connect to other people? If so, get a 3rd person who both of you can connect to and see if you can play with him as an intermediary.
You only lose films and gametypes you don’t have saved.
