Just bought Halo 5 and right when I go to kill the first enemy on the first level it glitches and send me back to the home screen. What wrong how do I fix this so mad just want to play!!!
Hard reset your xbox (hold in the power for 15 seconds until the console powers off) then unplug the power brick for 30 seconds
While you are doing this I also suggest to power cycle your modem/router
After 30 seconds plug the power brick back in and then turn the xbox back on
This should fix your issue, if it doesn’t I would try to uninstall and re-install the game, if that doesn’t work then its just another bug created by a patch 343i put out
the patch on 24/11/15 was intended to fix this issue
Possibly see if your xbox one needs an update also

Thanks for the advice tried all of the above and no luck still, not sure what to do next, any other ideas.
that happened to me i just started the level from the beginning again and solved
Could try to
Clean off the disk
clear bluejay storage
uninstall/reinstall
