But console controler players have an advantage over pc ones, since they have the red reticle that tells them when aim assist kicks in, while pc players just have to guess.
I mean mk and their is thing you can buy that let you play mk and have the aim assist of a controller it’s called a zim and it is being heavily used by my players to gain advantage they shouldn’t have. Players like benjmayne being the worst offenders
Switching to a mk would not make me better living with ADHD it would take me a vary long time to learn to learn how to play using a mk. I have played using a controller since my first console the sega mega drive.
on Xbox (and for MCC on both playforms) when an enemy is close enough so that aim assist kicks in, your reticle (the thing on your screen where you aim with) goes from white to red. This way you know when you are in optimum range to hit your shots.
On PC in Infinite your reticle stays white, even when you are within AA-distance. It will never turn red. This is a disadvantage for PC-players.
Sounds like you just being not used to aiming in Halo. Keep practicing and get warm ups in weapon drills before starting a session.
Your goal is to track enemy movement with your own movement and not swing your targeting reticule all over the place to track them. Get into the habit of using your movements more. Guy moves right, you move right as well. Guy jumps, you can try and use your targetting to adjust the aim but try and follow suit.
I saw that you mentioned ADHD and I can understand that cos I have severe ADHD as well. I still do fine as an average player.
There is no point of asking for changes, 343 decides what game typyes people can play.
I mean its June and we cant play ranked team slayer. At this point there is no reason to support the game any more.
this new threads about crossplay are really starting to anoying more.
since its getting to much off the same topic more.
i hate force crossplay also and still that it most become a option to turn off.
but to make the same threads about it when we have all a lot off then are getting anoyying more.
and we all know that the crossplay system there use now in halo infinite is compleet wrong since we all know a lot off xbox console players not wane play with the PC platform for a lot off reasons so making new threads about it each time is getting boring more at some point.
its better to use the other threads if people wane start the discusion about it then make each time a new one about the same thing.
When an enemy player comes within range of various weapons the reticle/crosshair (aim point) in the middle of the screen turns from white to red indicating optimal aim assist and bullet magnetism ranges for weapons.
On console this is normal and unchanged, on PC this was removed due it it’s use in hacking, despite the fact that player outlines were used effectively instead. Without the “red reticle” it’s rather difficult to gauge where optimal range is for various weapons as the underlying mechanics tied to “red reticle range* is still functional.
I hate to break your heart OP but crossplay will never be turned off. Xbox’s entire business model is built around connecting and enabling people to play no matter the platform.
