I am so tired of Arena. I like games like CTF, but I don’t like to play them as often (or more) than Slayer. At the very least, make it so that every other game you play is Slayer. I played 9 games last night…3 CTF, 2 Oddball, 4 Strongholds. Zero Slayer. ZERO. Why are we being forced to play these other game types? Is it all in the name of quick matchmaking times? I’d gladly wait an extra 2 minutes per matchmaking attempt in order to get a Slayer-only playlist. But at the very least, just give the players what they want and mix Slayer in more often than the other game types.
Also, we need a standard ranked Slayer that includes mini map and secondary weapons on spawn. This has been the standard since pretty much the beginning. MLG style Slayer is fun, but again it’s just a completely different game with different strategies. Why are we all being forced to play it and given no other option beyond Social?

I was really hoping with the mid season reset they would add new playlists to ranked. I had planned on running ranked matches, but instead we just played social that night…I want to log on and play more often, but whenever I think about playing ranked I immediately cringe at the thought of being forced to play garbage like oddball in ranked play and social jut gets boring solo.
In total agreement, create a dedicated ranked slayer and you can also keep your mixed ranked playlist. 343 please listen to us this is frustrating on my fireteam I have group of players who are over 50’s and 60’s. They are not active on the forums and 100% of those want dedicated ranked slayer, some stopped playing halo infinite because of this basic request.
The other day I had 4 odd ball ranked games back to back, then 1 ranked slayer, then ctf, oddball, ctf and I stopped playing after that. Why not have a vote for what players want to play at minimum.
Agree entirely with the sentiment but they had fears about spreading the player base too thin - and the state of the population now because of the state of the game… well, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy
I’m surprised there isn’t at least the veto option. That said, the toxic and annoyed nature of the player base right now, I think it would cause a lot of people who lost the vote to quit anyway.
Ranked Slayer is the best part of the game by far imo! All I want to do is have a shootout against others online and try to move up the ranks and earn new rewards. I thought this was the biggest reason people play shooting games! I was addicted to halo 5 Slayer. I was stuck in the platinum range for probably 2 years lol but that’s the joy of ranked Slayer!
Agreed!!! And a pile of my friends do too. I currently know of at least 7 players who aren’t playing or barely at all because Team Ranked Slayer isn’t in.
The fact that one of, if not these most popular playlist in Halo history!!! (Just look where Ranked Team Slayer was in most popular playlists over the years in games, always top 3 in any Halo game, lots of time #1) the fact it Isn’t in Halo infinite is absolutely ridiculous!!! I honestly can’t even wrap my head around why they would do this.
I just don’t know what the heck they are thinking by not having this in. If it’s true that they have said it’s difficult for them to have more than one ranked playlist, then their game engine is complete garbage! If someone at 343 thought it was a good idea to only have one ranked playlist, I would love for them to come on here and to tell us why.
Lots of players don’t want to play objective. Lots of players don’t want MLG/HCS rules. They just want Team Slayer playlist, but Ranked. It’s pretty dam simple!
Unfortunately because of this I’m playing this game less and less and less. I will always play Halo to some degree as I’ve been a fan since CE, but yeah… You want people coming back and playing your game, Then maybe you should put in one of the most popular playlists in Halo history. 343 decisions are just more perplexing as time goes on on so many things. It makes me really sad
