First and foremost I played a ton of matches yesterday. At least a total of 6 hours of playtime with friends. The one thing I noticed, everytime we lost there were players on PC/m&k that were absolutely destroying us. There needs to be an option to disable crossplay or at least the option like it is on MCC where you can allow crossplay but only allow controller’s.
Also why is there no option to disable crossplay in ranked with 3-4 players?
For a better initial experience they are probably trying not to split the playerbase too much. Disable crossplay and you suddenly need 4 playlists for what is essentially a single ranked playlist, if they add more playlists then you are continually splitting the population 4 ways. They are also having crossinput tournaments so .ales sense players can practice in that environment.
You’re getting beat by the player, not the input. Disabling crossplay won’t change the fact some games you just get splattered all over the walls.
It’s literally in MCC. And MCC has how many playlists, 50, 100?
Which leaves many gametypes never played because not enough players in your skill range are searching for them. If you search everything, you will often play the same games and gametypes over and over. Kills the variety.
Competitive is terrible for getting consistent games because of the small population split many ways. Soke games I just cannot ever get a game no matter when I search.
You make it seem like splitting the player base in half versus spitting it between 5 games, 20 game modes per, and PC and console crossplay is the same. Halo infinite only has 4 multiplayer playlists (if you want to include bots).
Yes i agree. I hope 343i give us the otion to choose platform and input device for social playlists too, like in MCC.
Do i understand you correctly, if you play with 2-3 mates, you can’t disable crossplay (in ranked)?
Just want to agree with you, we need the option to turn it off. I don’t like getting obliterated by pc players every match. And for the apologists out there I’ve been playing halo since CE launched, I’ve played thousands of online matches throughout my life, saying there’s no difference or that console players need to get good is as ridiculous as it is oversimplified
