please give me 79 reasons why 343 ruined halo

It’s for my political science class.

That will be difficult because they didn’t

sorry man sometimes you gotta take that loss
but im sure you will do fine on the next project

I don’t think even the most antagonistic of 343 haters could list 74 reasons. Either because they don’t exist, or they don’t have the time or attention to do so.

That’s an oddly specific number.

I like 343, but colored undersuits is probably my only gripe. I’m doing this for you, and your po-sci class OP

Is this a community college?

Please no more lists of complaints. If people really want to help, they should be posting issues in a constructive way. Just listing complaints does nothing.

If you truly need this for a class, search for similar threads. I’m sure there are at least 79 threads about this.

  1. It doesn’t feel like Halo.
  2. It doesn’t play like Halo.
  3. It doesn’t look like Halo.
  4. It has sprint.
  5. Sprint is implemented pretty badly in all of the games so far.
  6. Thrusters are too reminiscent in implementation to Advanced Warfare’s boost dash.
  7. Ground Pound is also reminiscent of AW’s ground slam, but it’s slightly better and I have less of a negative opinion about it.
  8. Spartan Charge is too casual-friendly.
  9. Spartan Charge has too long of a lunge range.
  10. Master Chief doesn’t have much screen time in Halo 5.
  11. Weapon balance is strange, and reminiscent of Call of Duty’s “every weapon has to be useful, even the nooby weapons”.
  12. Microtransactions are a bad way of giving the community “free” DLC.
  13. Locke feels like he is supposed to replace Master Chief.
  14. Arbiter has had no playable screen time since Halo 3.
  15. Characters that had development in previous material seem to be killed off unexpectedly, i.e, Jul M’dama.

There might be more to come. Most (read: all) of this is my opinion.

Come on its obviously a joke thread but if it’s not
its the best project to exist you could count play time as studying

No it;s school

They only dropped one phaeton for the gunner commendation

Microsoft and 343 got burned for out-sourcing the work that needed to be done for the MCC, you think doing the same for your class would be any better?

Yea, I think it would be best if you were to hunt down the facts of what people felt on the current issues rather then ask us.
The work is hard, trust me. But if you can do this on your own, you deserve an A. (Assuming it’s well written and thought out.)

Why would a political science class care about a game company?

sure it has different changes from other halo games but git gud m9

More then likely it’s a topic that requires the class to look up an example of less then desirable business practices, which unfortunately 343 has had a lot of fingers pointed at them on this.
It’s possible that it could be other things as well, but to be honest this is just my best guess.

The salt is real
